The Event Centre for the 2011 Irish Orienteering Championships is Kippure Estate in the heart of county Wicklow. A full schedule of events will be published in the weeks leading up to the event, but at this early stage we are certain that we will have mini-orienteering, winners’ routegadget presentations, and hopefully the ever-popular “shamrock sessions”.
Kippure Estate has offered a fantastic accommodation and meals package to IOC2011 competitors. You first need to enter the event and then contact Kippure Lodge (details below) quoting the discount code from your SiEntries confirmation email to avail of this special offer.
Please enter early – the accommodation is filling up rapidly. Unfortunately Kippure Estate cannot cater for tents, campers, caravans or motorhomes (see the accommodation page for other options).
Kippure Estate will handle the administration of all accommodation bookings and payments and are offering the following packages to IOC2011 participants:
Package 1: 2 nights full board €119 p.p.s.
Package 2: 3 nights full board €169 p.p.s.
These rates are based on allocating beds on a first come first serve basis where people may have to share with people they don’t know, similar to a hostel.
